@wallhackio i feel like 3 people is a pretty standard number for car jumping, esp when you gotta push the car

@Satsuma @wallhackio Wait why does the car need pushing? (I would say one person these days, but two is typical if you're doing the classical "jumper cables to another car" style, just on account of having two cars involved.)

@aschmitz @Satsuma car was in the garage with the hood away from the door so the only way to get the battery within range of my car's battery with the length of jumper cable that I had was to push it out of the garage a bit

@wallhackio @Satsuma Mm, I guess that makes sense, sure.

For future use, many car parts shops will loan you a portable jump starter in exchange for your driver's license, so if you have a working car and another in an awkward position, that may be another option. (But if you can get it into neutral and have a person to push, pushing may still be faster and/or easier.)
