I'm trying out the guppy community feature, and have created @fandom

Tag in that account to start discussions in the community. Follow the account to see more fandom-related discussions in your timeline.

At least, that's how I THINK it works. I might be wrong. 😅

#fandom

@admin I was about to say 'why not just follow hashtags' but then I realised that a group that is actually an account will probably get more reach...that is if people follow it. @fandom

Follow

@bloodwrites @admin @fandom yeah groups (theoretically) solve the issue of hashtags not federating completely — downside is they can get *super* noisy if people start chatting back and forth without untagging the group (#1 reason why I’ve had to unfollow groups in the past)

@Satsuma @admin @fandom
I wonder about having a list for just groups? But that would only work if you kinda abandon your home timeline completely and just work with lists.

@bloodwrites @Satsuma @admin (just using lists + the advanced column interface is what i do but:

1. it's important not to forget to add someone to a list after you follow them!! lol

2. it really depends on what app you use as far as how ergonomic this is on mobile)
