can somebody on glitch-soc with 3.5.0 try linking to their own /about/more from markdown, HTML, and plain text please. i can only link to our /about/more (https://glitch.cat.family/about/more) on plain text and i wanna understand if this is a bug in glitch
actually also try linking to https://glitch.cat.family/about/more and see what happens pls?
trying to link to our /about/more in markdown
trying to link to cybre’s /about/more in markdown
trying to link to cybre’s /about/more in plaintext
@aescling wonder if it has to do with URL length and trimming try a different long URL
@aescling like is it just trimming in a particularly bad place (before the slash maybe?) which is causing the link to be sanitized out or
@aescling *after the slash
@Lady en.wikipedia.org has the same location for the first slash and works fine; will keep playing with this
@Lady trying (abc|www).example.org/about/more has the same slash locations and those post fine
@aescling very curious
@aescling it must be recognizing the local domain name and dropping it as if it were a mention then
@Lady oh gods please no lol
why would this happen only on markdown and HTML though
also the entire post gets nuked if it has the link. like i’ll drop https://glitch.cat.family/about/more here and then copypaste it into a markdown version of the same post in a reply
copypasted
