my dad's side of the family played a specific ruleset for Rook that ive never seen elsewhere which is pretty cool

@coriander according to wikipedia rook decks caught on in christian communities because traditional card decks were associated with gambling

which should tell you plenty about my dads side of the family

@coriander there are tons of different games you can play with rook. the closest to a canonical game is "Kentucky Derby" but ive never played it, just the specific game my family plays
