When it comes to cooking the only things I can improvise are soups/stews/chilis, anything else I still use a recipe

@wallhackio This has now gotten me thinking about what counts as cooking VS not cooking

Like, a grilled cheese, obviously I don't follow a "recipe"

but burritos. I still make those largely by improvising, even if I make them the say way every time. But how different is that from a sandwich, just assembling ingredients.

@The_T yeah when you think about these things enough the distinctions between things get blurry.

Like when is putting something in the oven cooking or baking? Is pickling a vegetable cooking? Is making tea cooking? Is a hot dog a sandwich? It's fun to think about these sorts of things

@wallhackio a burrito is a sandwich

both are just a grain surrounding meat and cheese

spaghetti and meatballs? that's a sandwich

chicken cordon bleu? that's a sandwich

@The_T is chili served on white rice with shredded cheese a sandwich

@wallhackio pizza? well that's just an Italian sandwich

Mexican pizza? Mexican Italian sandwich

@wallhackio yes, just change "meat" with "protein"

cheese has protein
