@lapis Most of the main cast of JJK is not compelling to me. I don't find them unlikable but they're not interesting either.
Like Yuji? He's nice. Edgy wolf boy is edgy I guess. Nobara is cool I guess.
Gojo is the only main character that I like a lot. And now he's stuck in a cube

@wallhackio I'm gonna be honest with you.
I'm pretty sure people only watch read this series for the interesting art and judging for what I saw for fanfiction pairings either hoping Yuji and Megumi will kiss or that Gojo and Geto will kiss (they will not it is a shonen jump title duh)
for some reason my library's digital holdings has ALL of Jujutsu Kaisen though. it's clearly popular and tbh I think it's entirely for art and hoping people will kiss
Maybe you should see if anyone has angrily written a fix-it fic for Gojo not trapped in Time Cube

@wallhackio also if you want to read about old man* yaoi that is absolutely canon but is blue balling everyone MIGHT I RECOMMEND CURRENTLY AIRING SERIES--
- I actually don't know how old Qifrey and Olruggio are. People in fandom seem to generally settle on 30-somethings but I think it's plausible they could be 40-somethings but either way it counts because everyone younger than 30 (or if you are in a Tales of Game) as turning 30 putting one foot in the grave already

@wallhackio Admittedly while I know what happens in the 3rd movie but haven't watched it because I was waiting for the 4th I think it's pretty clear at this point it's gay.

like look at that yuri gundam where there was an interview where the two voice actresses for the love interests stated the two got married or something.
And then people higher up were like WELL ACTUALLY THAT'S NOT TRUE THEY DID NOT
and the internet (understandably) lost it''s fucking shit and I think the big wigs had to back down

@wallhackio Sometimes you CAN read creator intent though without them explictly saying (like see above statement about Witch Hat Atelier. Also helps there's at least one canonically gay couple in it). It's more like you start with a "These are husbands and their main problem is one husband adopts stray cats (apprentices) without telling his husband"
And then it just... it gets both gayer and sadder and there has been absolutely zero kissing or anything

@wallhackio also I know this wasn't your intent but saying "oh the love is intended" is probably what's gonna make me keep reading (that and I usually don't have to wait long for a volume and there's a handy summary each time reminding me what happened though I'm pretty sure for at least one more volume it will be "Gojo is in a box and people are trying to rescue him and don't"

I got bored reading a volume so I started reading fanfiction but it looks like English fandom didn't take off until mid or late 2020? The volume I'm reading was assembled in MAY of 2020.
I'm not sure what spoilers I'm worried about tbh.
Maybe in a slash fic it will be revealed between Gojo/Geto banging that Yuji bit off a Sukuna finger (and Sukuna's dick? idk where I'm going with this) but did not consume it.
