Maybe I should take a melatonin
I need to get my mind on other matters but right NOW my brain wants to solve the mystery of what 80s or 90s paperback (it might have been an apple paperback but they published Baby-Sitters Club so coming through a list of their stuff is a massive PITA to say the least) I got at a garage sale that was about some teenager who liked a soap opera, looked a bit like a character (deliberately) and there was a rumor the character was gonna be killed off and she's being stalked and scenes from the soap are being replicated and iirc it was a classmate jealous of her home life.
There's another unrelated book I don't remember details of (p sure it was an apple paperback) but my mind is stressing about the first book as if a book I haven't reread since like 4th grade will magically come to me.
Anyway if you know what book I'm talking about (the soap opera one) I would like to know

Like, I'm sure I read it multiple times, I don't know if I'll like it as much as I remember but if you can figure out what book I'm talking about I'd be really happy (especially if I can buy like a copy on thriftbooks or something for cheap)
