@wallhackio i've never done very much javascript so the idea of "nullish" is funny to me. this variable is kind of null. there's something defined but it's not a very good definition so it's still practically null
@sudo_EatPant the reason we say nullish is because the language has two "null-like" values (undefined and null) where most languages only have one. So we say "nullish" to refer to either of these two values
