@coriander I saw an interesting video essay a few weeks ago by a young woman deconstructing her fascination with fundie snark and hate-watching Girl Defined and other problematic religious content. She ultimately concludes that it was because she saw herself in these people. Specifically, the version of herself that believed arguing about feminism on tumblr was praxis
