I think it's funny people get freaked out by castoreum from beaver anal glands being used as flavoring in food but they're fine with sausages which traditionally use intestines as casing (or more commonly in modern times, a collagen-based substitution which is also in part sourced from collagen in intestines). Like it's definitely worth complaining about if you're vegan or otherwise dont want to be eating animal products (even though it's relatively expensive and not commonly used these days), but if you eat meat there's like no reason to be bothered by the idea if you think about the rest of the stuff you eat daily imho
