What is it with retrocomputing YouTubers and having two channels? Can someone explain? Why have two instead of just one?

Adrian's Digital Basement has a second channel called Adrian's Digital Basement ][ (which I only found out about today, I've been told that it has a video about repairing a floppy disk drive on the Apple Lisa, and of course, I'm very interested in floppy disks)
The Quantum Bigfoot hard drive video that Onfy sent me a few days ago was posted on a channel LGR Blerbs, which is presumably associated with LGR...

@vaporeon_ i can make a good guess for why this is happening. i have seen youtubers before mention that releasing a video that gets far fewer views than is average can hurt you channel--youtube will think you no longer engage your current audience and stop recommending your videos

so many people create a secondary channel where they upload content the expect to be less popular, so as to not hurt the first channel's popularity in the algorithm
