sitting here with popcorn watching that girl who said that up until like age 22 she thought eyeglasses somehow administered medication that allows you to see

she’s now saying everyone is racist for being like “how did you go through the world thinking this” and everyone in the comments is like “literally no human being on earth has ever thought this before you”

I lied she learned this at age 29 a week before turning 30

@cam honestly she seems curious and amused by the whole thing, I can only think of the xkcd "lucky 10000" strip

@wallhackio yeah I definitely don’t agree with people being mean to her I’m just more bewildered than anything. I mean there’s plenty of stupid things I’ve thought in life I just feel like most of them were because I hadnt encountered anything to disprove whatever I thought

@cam @wallhackio I guess that nobody of her family or close friends wears glasses and so she never had the chance to look through their glasses and see for herself how they work...

@wallhackio @cam :psyduck: Then I'm confused how she never took the opportunity to look through her relatives' glasses... I definitely did that when I was younger...

@vaporeon_ @wallhackio maybe she thinks the medicine in them distorts your vision? idk
