I think a big autism thing for me just boils down to privacy
I can't relax if I feel like I'm being watched, but if I have a quiet place to recover, I can generally handle whatever else the day throws at me

the flipside of this is if I don't have a private space to groom or sleep, I become progressively more neurotic as time goes on
