maybe I'm just weird but I can't imagine having a newborn baby and then handing it off to get its foreskin cut off or its ears pierced or whatever

@wallhackio the issues aside from lack of consent are that a lot of the time it's done with a piercing gun (which causes blunt force trauma instead of a clean break), sometimes the holes will end up being lopsided in adulthood, the holes can get infected easily, and often kids get the piercings stuck on carpeting while rolling around and stuff which can be dangerous

@wallhackio yeah in several cultures it's really common to pierce infant/young baby girls' ears and some people will say shit like "but your baby looks like a boy/dyke" if you don't
