I recognize that speedrunning and public speaking are very different skills and that most people who are good at one probably won't be good at the other but I am begging GDQ to at least screen runners' couches better so that there's SOMEONE on any given run who knows how to explain things well

I'm watching the Balatro run which is really cool but it's mostly cool because I know how to play Balatro but if I didn't know how to play Balatro I would have no idea what was going on

God bless the one guy on the couch who knows how to present a run but doesn't play Balatro so he's just constantly prompting everyone else like "Hey what does That Thing do?"

I checked the comments and I was right, people who don't play Balatro had no idea what was happening in the run
