Clodboy's Worst Art Opinions:
@vaporeon_ yes! and lots of spooky underwater alien creatures that im not sure i would call fish
@vaporeon_ it's a game about exploration and curiosity so it actually is best not to show things, but i'll make a followup post with some of the notable creatures anyway in case you want to see (i don't think you have a machine that could comfortably run it anyway the game is horribly opimized)
@vaporeon_ look at these things!! they are HUMONGOUS, like 10-20 times the size of a human being, and they regularly make very loud sounds similar to whale calls
they are completely friendly, which took me a long time to discover because i hid from them the first few times i saw them out of fear
@vaporeon_ look at this snaky boi. they are about 12-13 meters long and they are as dangerous as they look. they make this painfully loud screeching sound that sounds like something godzilla would say: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dynOPJYMAdI
@vaporeon_ the Cuddlefish!!! this adorable little guy is one of the few unambiguously Cute things in the game. it is perfectly friendly and you can raise one and have it swim around with you as you play! and you can high five it for some reason!!
@wallhackio But can you cuddle it?
@vaporeon_ no :(
they're still some really cute animations for it though: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8_vfVTHFqII
@wallhackio fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiish :3
@wallhackio Have you seen IRL footage of the deep sea seafloor? So many slightly unsettling alien creatures, spider with long thin legs that crawls over the floor, tube-looking thingies whose name I forgot but they're creepy, etc.
I'll try to look for video, just want to listen to the current song first (it's one of those that I already sent you)
@wallhackio Giant Tube Worms (and also deep-sea fishes, and also other kinds of worms): https://youtube.com/watch?v=JtV-FP212Uc
@wallhackio Deep-sea creatures! And biologists talking about them, with subtitles: https://youtube.com/watch?v=DCxzKSKaWZc
Some of them are rather creepy, but all of them are absolutely fascinating, it's such a different world compared to dry land...
@wallhackio May I see?
