Okay I've completed both Jedi Fallen Order and Jedi Survivor and I've come to the following conclusion:
I was right the first time, the encounter design in these games sucks ass
Bosses are cool as fuck, one-on-one encounters are fun as hell, but most of both games is "Here's 10 dudes" and the combat falls apart immediately when they do that
