i'm not here to tell you that dr. mario is a good character in super smash bros melee. that's patently ridiculous. he's playable. you have to be prepared to see him but he's solidly mid tier. like maybe upper mid but not good
what i am here to say is that dr. mario's sex kick is surprisingly potent
@monorail in ssbu every "bad" character is about as good as doc is in melee, also there are 86 characters
@wallhackio yeah. in my perfect utopia every fighting game will have at most 12 characters

i want to play fighting games with mature metagames. i don't want to have to invent shit to play my character. i want to be able to look up my combos on dustloop. i don't value creativity in my gameplay; i value the people who do value that so i can steal from them. but i want there to be existing things to steal
at the same time. i like games with very few characters, and lots of games add new characters over time
@wallhackio i used to play a fighting game with 10 characters and there was as update that added 2. it was such a slog, i don't want to learn new matchups!!!
