surprised there was an ending for karlach that doesn't involve letting her die that actually seems like a happy one
re: baldur's gate 3, MAJOR spoilers do not open aescling
@coriander i mean, wyll offering to help her stay free in avernus was satisfying to me

@wallhackio Oh wait I misread
Last I heard there WASN'T a way to save her, they must have put that in at some point
re: baldur's gate 3, MAJOR spoilers do not open aescling
@coriander when she's dying on the pier, wyll asks her to go to avernus with him and they'll fight together down there
the game lets you choose what to do and if you let karlach decide, she will choose to go down there with wyll and they fight the forces of hell, together
when you talk to her in the epilogue and she seems to imply they are in some sort of relationship at that point
re: baldur's gate 3, MAJOR spoilers do not open aescling
@wallhackio Ah okay yeah
The cut content was there was meant to be a quest to actually fix her engine and let her keep living on the material plane but it was for some reason heavily tied up with the upper city of Baldur's Gate and they couldn't rework it enough to put it in the game :(
re: baldur's gate 3, MAJOR spoilers do not open aescling
@coriander ah that's too bad, really
re: baldur's gate 3, MAJOR spoilers do not open aescling
@wallhackio It sucks but honestly I've made my peace with it, I think it's okay for stories to still end in tragedy sometimes and at least she got a little bit of happiness before the end

@wallhackio Cut Content :(
