they call me "the PR approver" the way i review the PRs and approve them

in fairness they also pay me dollers to send PRs back with requests for changes

i've never straight up rejected a PR though. i've never gone "we don't need this". because nobody's just making PRs for fun, they're all based on tickets made by someone saying "we do need this"
