People say Dark Souls is the best game of all time but Dark Souls isn't even the best Dark Souls game
@coriander my weirdest hot take is that I was completely unmoved by Dark Souls 1. I didn't love it. I didn't hate it. It was Fine.

@wallhackio Did you play vanilla DS2 or Scholar?
@wallhackio I had the same experience and then I played vanilla and realized vanilla is really good and Scholar is a ROMhack for people who played vanilla too many times and needed a new challenge
@wallhackio It's not necessarily bad, but I don't think it should be your first experience with it
@coriander I plan on getting back to it. I'm a very stubborn gamer. While I was NOT having a good time, I stopped because I was starting to experience wrist issues earlier this year and I had to slow down my gaming
@coriander my cousin gave me his copy of DS2 for Free and I like Free so I probably will still play the scholar edition
@coriander I have trouble fighting multiple enemies at once so I optimized the fun out of it all and I would probably enjoy the game more if I just bit the bullet and got used to fighting groups
@wallhackio Genuinely I think you should pick up vanilla if/when you decide to get back to DkS2
