the thing is that there are a lot of men out there who can write really well, except they can't quite imagine what it's like to fully see women as people. so. pretty frustrating reading them when even their female characters don't actually recognize other women as people.
fue la única chuza de la partida :> (logré un spare en el décimo juego así que tenía una tirada extra)
okay apparently this is not really etymologically correct although the latin dispar may have influenced its meaning.
incidentally, Anna Bruegel (one of those no-disambiguation-required painters, a daughter of Pieter Bruegel the Elder) married a different painter referred to as [name] the Younger.
the Bruegel family sure had a lot of painters
turns out "Bruegel the Elder" and "Bruegel the Younger" are actually ambiguous. because there was a Pieter Bruegel the Elder, a Pieter Bruegel the Younger, a Jan Bruegel the Elder, and a Jan Bruegel the Younger. not counting all the other painters in the Bruegel family that aren't called "the Elder" or "the Younger"

i may have posted about this before but it's just such an amazing, wonderful thing.
