btw i saw someone say that sports tournaments often don't give an advantage to the team coming from winner's bracket? is that true??

i'm used to "if you make it to grands from winner's side and win, you win. if you make it to grands from loser's side and win, you have to beat them in a whole second set, and if you lose that one you still lose". nobody's out until they've lost twice
