it really feels like most software developers don't understand that some people speak multiple languages.
@alyssa am reminded of one time when i wanted to look at google play store reviews for a local app and it refused to show them to me because 'no reviews in your language' (because they were in spanish and my phone had the primary language set to english)
@ youtube: consider that turning on japanese subtitles on a japanese music video doesn't mean i want auto-translated japanese subtitles on english-language videos
