@alyssa I did always find that an odd catchphrase. Certainly most of the Hustle cons would only work on people who were being dishonest (helped that it was usually part of the blow-off), but obviously you can cheat honest people.

To be fair the first one it's unclear if he was honest or simply dishonest but also overrepresenting his ability to sustain the financial hit of losing the money and made a sympathetic case.

@alyssa In episode three they "ripped him off in good faith!", but it did lead to Mickey claiming a jinx and them paying him back at least. But fair.
