There's an episode of Pokémon Journeys where Chloe (with the Eevee) spends time with an employee of the Pokémon research centre who really loves Psyducks

@aescling I posted a bunch of screenshots of the episode when I first watched it, but it might've been on my previous account that I deleted at some point
@vaporeon_ also, chloe was trying to set her up with the trainer the whole episode because she misinterpurreted what the researcher having a cherished photo of the psyduck and its trainer was about
@aescling Didn't she tell Chloe? About how she likes Psyducks ever since a Psyduck was nice to her while she was having a bad time with her studies? And they went looking for that specific Psyduck? My memory is fuzzy...
@vaporeon_ chloe fails to put two and two together until right at the end, she really thinks it was the trainer she wanted to see again
@aescling At first I was confused what you meant, but now I'm remembering the scene at the end where the scientist finally meets the Psyduck who was nice to her again and its trainer and in slow-motion she runs towards them to hug... the Psyduck. Not the trainer. Right decision IMO. Psyduck is better. Quack quack.
