i think my favorite part of Cloud Atlas was the fun novel dialect of English they used in the post-apocalypse storyline

i’m still baffled by how much contenpurray film criticism at the time didn’t get the movie, i thought it was… not that hard of a movie to get?? even as fucked up and nonlinear as the story is i found rhe actual narrative structure to be… rather unchallenging?
