idk if this is a hot take but playing a video game is awesome

i will be sitting here, stone faced, watching the game happen in front of me in a cool and detached way, until my opponent hits something cool and i'm forced to remember that video games are incredible

people treat me like a villain for the way i feel about competitive games. not even like a normal villain, they treat me like an "i'm going to steal all the instruments from musictown!" villain

but the only thing i ask is that you fight me like it means everything to you, and to trust that i'll be doing the same. is that really so wrong

@IntrepidVector you don't need to cw this, she's the only pokemon character who understands me

@monorail @IntrepidVector I dunno, I feel like Nemona is more like the "hey, wanna wrestle?" type. She just wants to be competing at everything, but isn't obsessed with winning.

@The_T @IntrepidVector it's nice to win but that's not the point! the point isn't to win!!

the point is that you did everything you could, you poured everything you had, into trying to win!! that's the point!!

@monorail @The_T @IntrepidVector nemona’s happiest moment in base game was when she lost a battle
