Looks like it's specifically a voice chat program, so not what I'm looking for
I guess the only options for encrypted group chats on desktop is to accept Matrix?
I have just been informed that there actually are options for encrypted group chats in XMPP (https://xmpp.org/extensions/xep-0384.html#group-chats). I'll need to try that out.
