the sonic rush adventure ost is funny to me because it starts off fur a couple of levels trying and only kind of successfully trying to imitate hideki naganuma, but then the water level happens and tomoya ohtani suddenly remembers he’s really good at his job. so he starts doing his own thing and the soundtrack suddenly gets amazing
ohtani is not my sonic games composer but goddamn has he been doing a good job since that basically became his job since sonic 06
