@vaporeon_ no, only seen the furst two seasons of journeys and some of the early episodes of diamond and pearl
@aescling Pokémon Journeys was fun to watch, though it got extremely boring towards the end when they only showed the championship battles
@aescling I'm still at the beginning of my watching of Pokémon Sun & Moon, and for a while now, I've found watching retrocomputing videos before sleep more interesting (though I'll get back to Pokémon anime, don't worry), so I don't know what Sandy's gender will be in the Russian dub, either...
@vaporeon_ let’s go eevee introduced the tail diffurence, and that was mid or late gen vii, so depending on when exactly the anime came out, the tail could be a determiner
anyway yeah idk how they’re gendered in english. i have seen clips of sandy on youtube but i don’t remember any that gendered them

The Bulbapedia claims that it's a male Eevee due to tail pattern differences, but I don't think that tail pattern differences existed at the time of Sun and Moon! And Sandy always looked more feminine to me TBH...
