Does Windows have anything like sha256sum?
(I wanted to make sure whether the file I received is in fact the same file that was sent, and the easiest way to do that would be to compare checksums, but I just remembered that they're a Windows user...)

@vaporeon_ you can find a couple ways to run it on windows but i don’t think there’s a native tool fur it
also, i think the standard distribution of gpg fur windows integrates checksumming into the UI when using the file explorer
