Search engines should let me specify to only show web pages from before 2010 or so

@vaporeon_ google definitely allowed this at some point; i can't imagine they would have gotten rid of it?
@aescling How? I tried typing before:2010 into DuckDuckGo as Maple suggested, but it still gave me results from 2019...
@vaporeon_ you might need the full js web page. there's a menu under the search bar that contains an entry fur date; you can select an arbitrary custom range from there

Why couldn't they just implement a before: like they have site:? (I use e.g. site:archive.org a lot)
