If your spam filter blocks plain-text e-mails, your spam filter is set up wrong 
"We'll only let through your message if you include unnecessary HTML in it, no plain text, no trying to make it more secure by including your signature so that they know it's really from you" - web "security" solution author, apparently
@vaporeon_ i think what's happening with PGP signatures is that attachments generally are historically regarded as suspect and the spam filter is just not even trying to make exceptions fur certain use cases
