@vaporeon_ maryland and seattle are on opposite coasts ftr
@vaporeon_ i would not recommend trying it lol
@aescling The continent is really big... Is there airplane connection between the two cities?
@vaporeon_ not sure. maryland is relatively small so i’m pretty sure there is a major airport nearby, if maybe out of state
@aescling Did you mean to write "there isn't"? Because I can't follow the logic of "Maryland is relatively small, so there is an airport"... Wouldn't a small city be more likely to not have airport?
Where is Maryland, BTW?
@vaporeon_ it's a bit southeast of new york and a bit northeast of virginia—see the attached
i realize what i said was confusing. what i mean is that maryland is a small state, so even if there isn’t a major airport in maryland, it is likely a reasonable drive from there to the nearest major airport, even if you have to cross a state boundary
@aescling Nueva York
@aescling It's interesting how in Spanish, they translated the "New" in "New York" (and also that "York" is feminine for some reason?). We just say Нью-Йорк ("Nyu-York"), we don't translate is as "Новый Йорк"...
@aescling @vaporeon_ maryland is kinda big (just shaped real weird) and if you’re talking about western maryland it’s really out there in the middle of nowhere, but most likely the museum is in the area between DC and new york so it would likely be easily accessible if you got to about a half dozen major airports between nyc and dc
@vaporeon_ @aescling Yeah, Hunt Valley is the city name. Looks like there is light rail from baltimore to there. Baltimore has a pretty major airport too
@vaporeon_ @aescling this is pretty much the only part of america with close to normal amounts of transit, the area from dc to boston.
@aescling Damn... So I couldn't visit both in one trip...
