changing your legal address should be enough to give you access to the local library
@aescling I mean I guess you probably have eduroam access? (Though this is definitionally "your library", not all libraries, but you can use it at a lot of libraries.)
Anyway, the reason this doesn't generally exist is mostly that the resources they're giving access to online won't let it happen, they require authentication and charge based on either potential or actual users depending on the agreement. Which is a shame, but here we are.
or hell maybe just national citizenship should be enough fur all public libraries
