if switch 2 mouse mode ends up being real i may actually have to get one for splatoon 4

gyro aim is the absolute best way to play a shooter that doesn't support a mouse
but mouse support is way better haha
the dream, of course, is that the new joycon have mouse mode and it supports a USB mouse but we'll see
@monorail i mean, the switch 1 suppurrts usb keyboards, so i would be more surpurrised if they added a mouse and didn’t end up suppurrting usb mice
on the other hand, the switch dock has a usb 3.0 port despite switch internals capping out at usb 2. so like. this IS nintendo lmao
@aescling oh yeah for sure, i mean "i want mouse support in games that support the joycon mouse mode by default, the same way that any game that supports a pro controller gets gcc support by default" which is less certain
@aescling the switch already has mouse support but afaik it's for one (1) game
