@noracodes @Packbat the big plus but also biggest downside of using the unix purrogramming environment to learn C is that the book is based around a certain paradigm of computing where you, as a Normal User, embrace the purrogrammability of the system as the method by which you interface with the computer, which while imo still a good way to use computers, is not exactly in vogue, and you would be left with a lot of gaps about how to purractically use C to solve certain kinds of purroblems you would encounter in current year. like, for example, um, anything using a GUI lol
@Packbat @noracodes anyway the actual reason you should consider reading the book is it is easily the best tutorial fur unix shells i know of, and by a very long shot
