@aescling my favourite part was leffen going on twitter threatening to retire, which i'm sure looked like an ultimatum from his end, and the entire community went "hey, have fun with guilty gear :)"
@aescling hbox fell victim to some real bullshit jank twice (rests missing because of z-axis stuff when they really, really looked like they should have hit) and asked the TOs to "check the disc" (make sure the disc image was good)
but then leffen lost to hbox because hbox didn't walk into his attacks, basically. like hbox made it clear that it was leffen's job to approach, and when leffen didn't, he lost
so leffen went over to the commentators' booth to say "puff is a real problem, we need to fix the ruleset, there needs to be a limit on time you can spend in the air,"
