There's a scene in the story I'm working on that I think is more vital than any other single moment to absolutely Nail and it's the moment the protagonist first encounters the Queen

He is immediately entranced by her, in awe of her, reverent bordering on worshipful from the word Go

She is the most beautiful and serene being anyone has ever seen, perfection bordering on absurdity, if Helen launched a thousand ships the Queen could launch a thousand fleets

She needs to be this perfect so he will be so in awe of her and, therefore, so easy for her to manipulate; she will lie to his face and he won't even think to WONDER if she is lying, how could someone so perfect tarnish their lips with falsehood? Beyond unthinkable, it is impossible

But the trick is that you can't oversell it or the reader will twig to her being Bad News immediately, which will ruin basically the entire flow of the narrative lmao, so she needs to be Perfect, but in an understated way

I'm really glad I'm not writing prose yet =P

Like, when Elijah comes face-to-face with the Lord and can only bring himself to describe the angels glorying in His presence?

That's the vibe but with slightly less "Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty"
