@aescling on average, adding a character to a fighting game makes that game better, until you reach some point where you have too many and adding more, on average, makes the game worse
and the problem is that lots of p eople would say that point is at 30 or 40 when i think it's at like 8
@monorail i do think ssbu pulls it off extremely well but i do hope no game ever tries to go anywhere near that hard on roster size ever again
@aescling i think melee has too many characters
@aescling i just don't want to learn that many matchups
@monorail especially when even bad characters are deliberately designed to have powerful gimmicks and non-gimmicky cheese
