another fun fact, i wrote a PATH walker that would search for exectuables before i knew that 'executable-find' was a built-in elisp command
and while im VERY certain that its faster, im a little sad that my code/work wasnt needed
@compufox been there done that (not that specific feature but like, yeah, implementing something you already have and then feeling a bit disappointed that i have to delete my work)
@aescling ime theres also some kind of relief like "oh thank god someone more qualified already did this"
