@apprendere are we EDS buddies or is there a second chronic rib dislocation disease?
@Satsuma nothing diagnosed. Several family members are bendy enough that one of my siblings has heard it before I mentioned it and is suspicious that we have it! If we do, it hasn't been severe enough to cause too many problems... usually. I do kind of wonder if that would be different if we didn't each get early dance/swim/etc. lessons early on and the associated body awareness and trchnique that that sort of training builds
@apprendere ah i see! EDS is genetic so if bendiness and joint issues run in the family its a likely explanation, but if you aren’t having too many problems probably not worth the effort of pursuing further
(also one of those weird situations where its possibly to have the gene but be technically “sub clinical” because diagnoses is based on symptoms)
