In much the same way that I believe everyone should have to work a customer facing job (retail, food service, etc.) in their life, I also believe that everyone who is able-bodied and drives a vehicle should be forced to ride a bike in traffic before they're granted a license to drive.

@totalclaireity i keep hearing about various places moving to restrict road access for teens on bikes/skateboards etc in various ways and this is definitely one of the reasons i find the concept so horrifying for sure. like, surely we want *more* people to have experience with being cyclists not less?
