Main achievement yesterday was traveling to a government office for a recurring bureaucracy thing, and it was the first time in the roughly 20 years I've been doing this task that everything went without a hitch and there was no mistake, misunderstanding, or confusion. I arrived 30 minutes ahead of my appointment at the correct office (guess who booked the wrong regional office last time...) and had all the necessary papers ready, including revenue stamps in the right amount.
And I never even got up from my chair during the appointment, no fetching extra paperwork or running around the building for extra interviews or directions like I did in previous appointments. The whole review and processing was done in 15 minutes or so, and I was like, ohhh so this is what it's like to be well-prepared! All that planning and list-making for days actually paid off lol.
executively functional adulting
