If you saw a decorative water fountain (not a splash pad, not in a playground) would you assume the water was treated?
Would you encourage your dog to jump in and drink?

@compostablespork i would say its probably less gross than my neighbors fishponds water which our cat is *obsessed* with drinking so you know
@compostablespork yeah a weird chemical odor would definitely be a turnoff for me as well!
@Satsuma I'd definitely be more inclined to let my dog drink muddy natural water than water in an urban fountain with a weird chemical odor and nothing growing in it (but I felt weird about saying anything to the people who put their dog in it yesterday and were encouraging it to drink, I had been sitting next to it and was already wondering if I should be breathing the spray since it smelled so weird)
