We have somehow? acquired a caterpillar?
(found in 9yo's bed. I guess it hitched a ride inside from the cold. 7yo really loves caterpillars so I guess we're not putting it back out into the cold, it's currently in a jar with airholes and a spinach leaf)
@Satsuma yeah I thought so too! it looks like a basic cabbage moth caterpillar except it's brown rather than green, so I'm not sure. I looked at a couple of caterpillar identification sites and couldn't find a perfect match
