So the good (?) news is the fridge repair people think the Noise is just because the frost-free freezer has, in fact, got a lot of frost hidden in the back of it (i.e., behind the back wall where you can't really see) and just need to be defrosted to stop sounding like it's taking off.

The bad news is there's no power point specific to the fridge to do this (…. whyyyyyy?).

The good news is I found which of the breaker switches turns it off.

The bad news is the one other thing that switch seems to turn off in the apartment is the power outlet the TV is connected to??? Which isn't even close to the fridge???
