i've got a windowless bathroom with terrible ventilation and unsurprisingly, mildew has occurred. i can tackle the existing mildew itself but it's a rental so i'm limited for what i can do to prevent it going forward. what's my move here? cheap dehumidifier?

@rigormorphis leave the door all the way open whenever it’s unoccupied but yeah if you’re already doing that and still getting mildew issues a dehumidifier may be your only option
@Satsuma oof that's good to know! it gets HOT in this place in the summer too
@rigormorphis yeah its directly proportional to how much water they’re taking out of the air as i understand it? but we had to keep some running for a few weeks after some water issues last summer and it was super rough
@rigormorphis be aware that they produce a TON of heat in the process of condensing, which might be a plus in the winter actually but can be killer in the summer
