to nobody's surprise, I have abrubtly found myself giving a go to yet another new-to-me craft....this time I am trying out using kumihimo braiding technique for making cord. it's fun and satisfying! and also very slow lol, perhaps especially bc I'm using diy tools instead of something designed for the purpose.
also, I started working on this bc I wanted to see if I could do homemade shoelaces, but turns out my materials (cheap yarn) are creating a cord that's juuuust too thick to actually fit through boot grommets - but I've kept working on it anyway because it's satisfying, even though I have no other use for this particular cord. so far I have an entire 8 inches of cord. not exactly enough to be useful for anything just yet!
